ATLANTA (Nov. 13, 2019) Hawk Professional Investigations, a national leader in TSCM bug sweep services, security and investigations, has hired Robert McDonough as Associate, Security Consulting.
Mr. McDonough brings 44 years of elite security experience to Hawk PI, including 23 years with the U.S. Secret Service in which he rose to Assistant Special Agent in Charge of Presidential Protection.
In addition to protecting the President, he has served as Director of Security for Fortune 500 companies and other high-profile organizations. In these positions he was responsible for the safety of tens of thousands of employees, dozens of executives, and hundreds of office, manufacturing and retail sites.
“We’ve seen unprecedented demand for corporate and personal security support in the past two years,” explained HPI’s founder, Thomas Hawkins. “Inexpensive, readily available surveillance tools make it easy to become a target. In response, we are growing our team with top-tier experts. Bob McDonough is among the best of the best and will be a tremendous asset to our security team.”
Mr. McDonough’s duties will span all aspects of professional security practices, from vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and incident response planning to loss prevention, personal protection, and active shooter training. He also was a certified polygraph examiner involved in major Secret Service investigations and supported a variety of federal investigations for the FBI, CIA, and Department of Defense.
Hawk Professional Investigations has provided investigations, TSCM bug sweep services and security to leading law firms, businesses, and high profile individuals for more than 30 years.
The firm was voted Georgia’s top investigative firm for five consecutive years (2015-2019) and is a member of the Daily Report Hall of Fame.
